Terms of Service

Effective July 30, 2026

Please read these terms

By using DM Combat Control Console, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

DM Combat Control Console (“DMCCC”) is a browser-based tabletop companion for encounter preparation, combat tracking, campaign organization, generated character speech, exports, and unofficial fantasy skirmish play. Features may be added, changed, paused, or removed as the service develops.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter this agreement. Users under the age of majority should use the service with a parent or guardian’s permission. The service is not directed to children under 13.

Guest access uses a Firebase anonymous account. Google sign-in enables cloud synchronization and paid voice features. You are responsible for your Google account security, the activity performed through your DMCCC account, and maintaining accurate contact and billing information.

3. Free and paid features

Core combat features are available without a Pro subscription. AI Voice Pro is an optional automatically renewing monthly or annual subscription. The price, currency, billing interval, included character allowance, taxes, and any promotion are shown before you confirm Stripe Checkout.

One-time voice-credit packs may be offered to active Pro subscribers. Credits are measured in text characters submitted for generated speech. Replaying a previously generated clip does not use another generation allowance. Allowances, rate limits, and supported voices may change to reflect provider cost or availability, with reasonable notice for material changes.

4. Billing, renewal, and cancellation

Stripe processes payments. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown during checkout until cancelled. You can cancel through “Manage Pro” in the app’s Account & Data screen. A normal cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless the Stripe portal states otherwise.

Deleting your DMCCC account cancels an active subscription immediately and ends access to all remaining included or purchased voice credits. Review the Refund & Cancellation Policy before deleting a paid account.

5. Your content

You retain your rights in the campaign notes, encounters, character information, dialogue, and other original material you submit. You grant DMCCC and its service providers a limited licence to host, process, transmit, and reproduce that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for submitted content. Do not submit confidential information, personal information about another person without permission, or content that violates law or another party’s rights.

6. AI voice use

Generated voices are synthetic and may be imperfect, inconsistent, or unsuitable for a particular use. You are responsible for reviewing output before playing, publishing, or distributing it. Do not use DMCCC to impersonate a real person deceptively, facilitate fraud or harassment, create unlawful content, or violate OpenAI’s applicable usage policies.

7. Acceptable use

You may not attempt to bypass authentication, billing, quotas, rate limits, or security controls; probe or disrupt the service; automate abusive requests; resell access without permission; upload malware; scrape protected content; or use the service unlawfully. We may suspend access reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect the service, or comply with law.

8. Ownership and tabletop trademarks

DMCCC’s software, design, branding, and original documentation are owned by the service operator or its licensors. Open-game rules content is provided under its applicable licence. “Dungeons & Dragons,” “D&D,” Roll20, D&D Onslaught, and related names and marks belong to their respective owners.

DMCCC is an independent, unofficial companion. It is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Wizards of the Coast, Hasbro, Roll20, or the publishers of D&D Onslaught.

9. Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free calculations, permanent storage, compatibility with every device, or that generated content will meet your expectations. DMCCC is a game aid, and the Dungeon Master remains responsible for rules decisions and session outcomes.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DMCCC and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid to DMCCC during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Termination and deletion

You may stop using DMCCC at any time. The Account & Data screen can permanently delete the Firebase login and associated app data. We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms. Provisions that reasonably need to survive termination—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—will survive.

12. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. We may update these Terms as the service changes. Continued use after an effective-date change means you accept the revised Terms.
